Working with us
- We only take bookings up to 12-16 months before the event date. We may tentatively hold a date for you prior to to this cut off but this is not a guarantee.
- Your wedding order will be finalised 6 weeks prior to your wedding date. This gives us time to pre-order your flowers and ensures that we have confirmed your requirements.
- A deposit of 20% of the package you select, and is required to secure your booking date, together with the receipt of your signed agreement.
- No bookings will be guaranteed until we receive the booking form and a deposit.
- Your deposit must be paid within 2 weeks of accepting your quote, unless agreed to otherwise. If it has not been paid we will, unfortunately, need to release the date and open it to other clients.
- Payment can be made by direct deposit or via Credit Card (2% fee for Credit card).
- The final balance is payable no later than 6 weeks prior to your event. We will sent the full invoice 2 weeks prior to the due date.
- Booking Confirmation will secure our team for the date and time of your event as discussed and stated on your event order.
Artist Protection
- By booking Boho Blooms for your event, you agree to only use our florist and floral service for your event exclusively. We do not allow multiple floral vendors/products/DIY unless discussed and agreed upon due to the risk of damage to our reputation and quality control of our services.
Use of stock:
- Hired stock such as vases, votives must be returned to our studio no later than 5 days after the wedding (if not arranged to be collected by our staff). Safe, unbroken, and full return of all hired stock is the responsibility of the client.
- Lost/broken or damaged stock on hire from Boho Blooms must be paid for by the client.
Delivery & Collection:
Charges apply if venues policy states that hired stock must be collected at the completion of the wedding at night or outside normal trading hours.
Unless you have specifically organised and paid for Boho Blooms to both drop-offs and set up floral arrangements and hired stock, we will not be held responsible for any setup (e.g. placing arrangements on tables, attaching arbour arrangements).
You will be charged for extra delivery locations that may be added closer to the date. All delivery locations and addresses must be finalised 1 week prior to the wedding date. We will not drop any address added after this period.
Set up:
- Please rest assured we are covered by Public Liability Insurance for the venue set up and delivery.
- We need a minimum of 2.5 hours to set up for each venue/ area for events (ceremony and for reception). We may require longer which will be discussed at the consultation. If the venue has a limited time frame please give us notice so we can discuss options. Restaurants often have a limited time frame which may limit options.
- For rigging of large instalments, clients are to get permission from venues for these items. Please note some venues require their own team to hang items of which they will give you a quote. If you wish for our assistance we can work with you and your venue to find the best solution.
- We will endeavour to deliver at a time that is suitable for both parties but we cannot guarantee delivery will be on time and are subject to change depending on traffic and logistics on the day. We will notify you of any changes.
- In the event of bad weather/rain on your wedding day please be aware:
- We required 2.5 hours minimum notice before the ceremony of your alternative set up to allow enough time to complete the floral installation
- Under certain circumstances we may be unable to set up the ceremony flowers in rain (if it puts staff and guests at risk of harm; damage to the surroundings/furniture; damage to floral products)
- If your reception and ceremony locations are at seperate venues we may require 4 hours notice of your final ceremony location.
- If no decision or alternative provided we will make the final decision on where best to use the foral product - we are not responsible for last minute changes and if the florals are unable to be moved.
Cancellation & Postponing:
- Please be aware that in general a wedding preparation commence 6 weeks before and and flower orders are delivered in the week leading up to the wedding date. We are an Events Florist Specialist and do not have a flower outlet to resell products of you cancel last minute.
- When you choose to cancel or postpone a wedding please keep in mind the following terms and conditions:
Postponing
- If you postpone before 3 months of your Wedding Date there will be no further payments required. Your deposit is moved to the new date and regular payment agreement continues.
- In the event you choose to Postpone within 3 months of the wedding your will be lose your deposit and any costs incurred up till then will be deducted from the budget - Where possible we will do our best to reduce costs/loss.
Please be aware we may or may not be able to accommodate the new date pending, so best to get in touch ASAP to make it possible.
Cancellation
- If you cancel before 3 MONTHs of your Wedding period there will be no further payment required and deposit is non-refundable.
- If you cancel within 6 weeks of your Wedding period you will receive a refund minus costs incurred including the admin/labour fee, the deposit and any costs of products sourced.
- conditions at the time and our supplier’s cancellation fees.
Where possible we do our best to save our clients costs and cancellation expenses and we monitor the market and economy impacts as best we can.
Product Availability:
- Please note that all flowers and products are subject to seasonal quality and availability and if not available at the time of your wedding you will be notified of the alternative options. We are in no way responsible for stock that is not available.
- We have to source and order 75% of the flowers we use, at least 6 weeks before your wedding which means no changes can be made to your style and major changes to your event order.
- Based on the weather and conditions of the venue we may make changes to the setup and designs to ensure quality and designs are at their best. Most of the time we will let you know in advance but sometimes decisions are made on the day and are unavoidable.
Our 100% is to make sure what we provide you the very best and these decisions are based on delivering that.
- Containers and vases may change due to supply and stock. Boho Blooms will substitute the selected product with items of greater or equal value.
